What we do
Each programme has a named coordinator, a published budget and a simple test: can a family in Chevuru describe what it did for them?
Fees, books, uniforms, bus passes and exam coaching for students from class 6 to graduation. Each supported student is reviewed twice a year with their teacher and their family, and support continues as long as the student stays in study.
Runs year-round · Applications open each June
Working with head teachers in rural schools to fix what holds them back: a playable ground, sports kits, a stocked library, working toilets, painted classrooms. Sport is treated as seriously as the syllabus.
Three schools committed for 2026–27
A computer room in the village, evening batches in typing, spreadsheets, spoken English and internet safety, and a bridge course for students who want to sit technical entrance exams. Adults are welcome in the same room.
Ten-week batches · Next intake 28 September
Weekly visits to elders living alone, help with pension and Aadhaar paperwork, monthly medicines, and a place to sit together in the afternoons. Where there is no family at all, we arrange long-term care.
Weekly · Chevuru and two neighbouring hamlets
Screening camps twice a year, medicine support for chronic conditions, and a volunteer who accompanies patients to the district hospital so that no one gives up at the registration counter.

Skill training and small tool grants for people without work, self-help groups for women, and open village meetings on savings, schemes and the local economy — what is earned here, what leaves, and what could stay.
